Asia’s Big Step And Śląsk Shenanigans

Hello!! This week was actually insane.... so full of miracles and tender mercies... but I must start with the most incredible event... Asia got baptised!!! For those of you who do not know... Asia was a friend I met and taught in my last area. Recently she came to Warsaw to visit and we had a great lesson about SO MANY THINGS... including baptism and prayer. Anywayssss last week I got a text from her asking what the next step was and how she can get baptised.... so naturally I cried a lot when I read this text. She had her baptism this weekend and oh my goodness it was incredible. It has been amazing to see her journey. It has just been nothing short of amazing to have seen her with such desire to have a relationship with God and watch that desire grow into a burning testimony. It has been such an honour and a privilege to see her on this journey and I feel so blessed to have her as my friend.  It was also so cool to be back in the śląsk and to be there with sister trost. Her and I...

Cooking Cows And Catching Referrals: God's Multiplication In Action

Hello!  I hope everyone is doing well!  This week was crazy but we had so many little tender mercies and miracles.  This week was a lot of meetings and conferences for us. Sister Trost and I presented at both zone conferences plus organised and ran a sisters conference. It was a little bit of chaos but we managed to pull it off. We practically cooked an entire cow... no joke about 15kg of beef... it was nuts. Needless to say, there was a lot of leftover food and us and the office elders will be only eating taco meat and cilantro lime rice for the foreseeable future.  The past two weeks my sister trost and I have been praying  to have some people to teach. Being in the office with such a demanding workload now, we do not have tons of time for finding. We also have not been getting any referrals... So one way we decided to combat this was by ditching our car. There are only three cars in the mission and we have one of them... but we try our best not to use it. Whi...

Assistants (To The) Medical Coordinator

Hello everyone!  I hope you are all doing well! This week was another great week!  Highlight of this week... we went to Gdańsk!!! It was so incredible being by the ocean. Sister Trost and I were dying.... IT WAS INCREDIBLE.  The sight of the ocean and being by the water... it healed our souls. We found so much amber and little shells... It was amazing. But anyways... why we actually went to Gdańsk... sister trost and I are the social media leaders for our mission... This means we are in charge of advertising... creating and managing content ... and a lot of working with salt lake city to do so. It is a lot of fun! It takes us on so many adventures across the country! We filmed some ads by the ocean and then in the forest by this most amazing lake!  It was just such an incredible time.  that city has such an interesting history... It is the city where world war II started. It was where the Solidarność movement took place in the 80's! It was so amazing to be there...

God Is JOY

Cześć Cześć!  This week was really good!  We had transfers which were good and welcomed a new sister to the mission. But this new transfer is bringing a lot of lasts... and that is so scary. Last night sister trost and I had our last general conference as missionaries... that was so sad. I can not believe how fast time is going...17 weeks left.... what on EARTH. That does not seem real. Anyways other than that horrifying realisation... My friend Asia from my previous city came to visit!!! We got to spend some time with her answering gospel questions and talking about our personal relationship with God! I just love her and am so grateful we got to spend some time with her.  We watched general conference with the office! We made a lot of fun food. sister trost and I found the BEST cinnamon bun recipe... so that was a highlight for sure haha.  Yesterday We were able to go visit a member named Basia. She lives in a help home... which those are always so sad to go into. S...
