SMILE :)

Hello from Poland :) 

I hope everyone is doing well! 

This week was really good! 

We had some incredible lessons and have some amazing friends right now. 

I love having the opportunity to just teach them and talk with them. 

It is bitter sweet knowing I'll be on my way home in 15 days... it definitely has caused me to reflect on every moment. I really just can not begin to express my gratitude for serving here in Poland. 

I am really just soaking in every lesson and every single moment. 

We were able to teach quite a bit this week and all of them were incredible lessons. Our people that we are teaching right now are all so invested and progressing. 

One of our friends is getting baptised next week. She has the strongest testimony. Her love for God radiates from her! Her boyfriend is also getting baptised in the next few weeks here! So amazing to see people finding joy in christ. I feel so privileged to be able to hear and see these people's testimonies grow and His joy become apart of them.

Other than that... we were on the call centre week... we had SO MANY refferals. So there was not a ton of super exciting things other than some really crazy men giggling into the phone once and awhile. Horrifying. 

But we have seen so the hand of the Lord left and right! He has blessed us with just the most amazing friends... seriously this is my favourite teaching people I think I've ever had! We had three friends come to church (which doubled the size of the branch) and all of our other friends are just so invested in learning and applying the gospel. GOD IS SO GOOD. 

We also had the best miracle. Had a friend reach out from calgary and she wanted help getting her mum a book of mormon in Ukraine. She lives on a border town... well currently the front lines. BUT I was able to locate the branch president there and they still have an active group of members who meet every Sunday in person. We were able to connect the both of them... so so good. Being able to talk with the branch president and svitlana has honestly been so incredible. The glory both of the people give to God in a situation beyond what most of us can comprehend. They are such examples of faith. 

Spiritual thought 

Matthew 14:14

And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick. 

Christ is out personal saviour! He personally knows us and watches over us. He wants to bless us according to our needs!! I am so grateful to have the knowledge of a saviour who personally knows and loves me and watches over me. I am even more grateful to have the opportunity to share that with others. I am grateful that opportunity does not end in two weeks but rather is a ministry that I can take with me for the rest of my life. We all can! Through our countenance people can truly feel and come to know christ. We had a cool experience with that today. We were doing our weekly shopping and I had smiled at this man... we then saw him a few minutes later... and I awkwardly smiled again. He then instantly turned around and looked at me and said "where are you from and why are you happy" it was really amazing. We got to have a great conversation with him about why we are here and who we are. He went on to explain how its been hard moving here and being without his family and how people here aren't very kind to him and he could feel that we were different and wanted to know why. We were able to get his number and he texted us saying how the smile made his week and was a sign from God... a smile shares the light and love of God and it is such a small gesture of kindness thaf can help share His love:)

I invite you all to smile at people!!! That might sound so strange but it truly makes a difference in the people around you and your own life.
