One Last Area:)

Dzień dobry!  After a good few days I'm back haha! The past week or so has been really good. It also has been a blur. But I'll share the highlights!  Last week I was in warsaw with sister trost and eight other missionaries. We went caroling, we did a table in Old Town, and hit midnight mass! We also went to an American families house for dinner... they had all 10 of us over which was insane.  Other highlight... Sister gliske split Grzegorz with me... and now I have janusz (this is a sourdough started)... I currently am taking him across the country in a little jar... he is thriving. I love him.  Other than that it has been a lot of teaching and finding!  I am leaving legnica today which is sad... but had the coolest miracle happen. I get really nervous public speaking but yesterday as I was able to give my last testimony there... I was not even nervous... I cracked some jokes too. God is so good... my jokes... not as good.  I got all packed up this morning ...

Kisses And More Kisses...

Dzień dobry!  This week was good! It definitely felt like a week that lasted three months... for why I could not tell you.  Again we spent a lot of time outside street contacting which has been fun. We always meet some great older ladies. Two this week of note...  One kept talking about how anti Catholic she is and how much she loves everyone.... so that was confusing. She really let us know how she felt about a lot of things and kinds of people... it was exciting. She then gave me a kiss on the neck (not the first time this has happened and unfortunately not the last) and a giant hug... you get use to a lot of things while serving a mission... but I can safely say I will NEVER get use to that.  The second of note was this lady with a really smelly dog. That poor dog reaked and kept barking if we did not pet it while talking to her owner.... so... there we were petting the really smelly dog. The lady at the end was not interested however she did show us an INCREDIBLE...

Learning English And Looking For God

what is up?! I hope you all had a great week!  Mine was pretty uneventful... we took a trip to Warsaw this week which you know is a goof 15 hour round trip for a one hour apt... so that was great. It was fun though to be back in my first apartment. I love warsaw. A special piece of my heart is there after spending six transfers there. Truly the best six transfers.  It was fun to show Sister Pleszczynska around!  It was also fun to see sister tanner and sister crook.Being stranded in a city by ourselves is definitely a unique experience so it's really fun when we get the opportunity to spend time with other missionaries.  The rest of our week was spent trying to find people to teach! We spent a lot of time outside. Which has been really interesting here in Legnica. They all seem to know who we are here... which has NEVER happened to me before in my mission. These people look at us and quite literally run.... except for the construction workers... we run from them haha...

Christ Like Service And Salmonella

Hello Hello!! I hope everyone's week was amazing.  This week was quite an actual fever dream for me... literally.  Monday we had an incredible dinner with two of our ukrainian families in our branch. They are just the best. It started off so funny though. The grandma started talking about celebrities she thought were cute... and she wanted to know who we thought was cute... at first I said absolutely not.... no was not an answer. It became really funny for them/ really awkward for me really fast... I will not be exposing myself further but I will say that their group pick was benedict cumberbatch.... well let's say on a scale of doctor strange to aquaman... there was little to no middle ground. So that was so awkward but also hilarious. After a fun light hearted conversation it was interrupted by a phone call...Honestly, this week was quite sobering. Especially that lesson. When we were wrapping up our conversation about celebrity crushes the grandma got a call from her son. H...
