Legnica, Lessons, And Relying On The Lord

Good Morning!
I hope you are all doing well.
This week has been a whirlwind. We started off of course with transfers... so that was depressing. A lot of fomo on my part as sister trost was going to be companions with sisters gay and atkinson for a few days while they waited for their trainees but the fomo faded fast while we were in the train station... iykyk bahaha.
It was really sad saying goodbye to everyone. I really do miss them. Especially sister trost... but its okay... we still get to serve together as STL's and plus we got a good trip coming up ;)
Anyways... then started our trek to Legnica! My new companion and I hopped on the train at 14:30 and two train rides and a little walk away... we were finally in Legnica by 22:30. White washing is so fun because you get to learn by yourself with a bunch of suitcases when it is pitch black out where your apartment is... had me reminiscing of opening Rzeszow...remember those days sister grob? Both times I have done this I have been blessed with a trainee... which always makes me feel so bad for them.
The walk to the apartment was really exciting mostly because I was going off the directions one of our elders had given me.... because I was told not to listen to google maps as it would take me into a dark sketchy alley... so there I was going off of these instructions... which all i could remember was "go straight when you see bad shop, keep going straight, go left, then turn right." I am sure his instructions were better than that but that is all I could remember. User error. but hey it worked and we got in!
This week has been just figuring it all out. It was nice walking into an area and having an area book with people in it. White washing and opening are very similar but this time we got an areadbook with people.. not to mention an apartment.... so I am thanking God for that. It has been really awesome!
We were able to teach quite a bit this week.. a lot of the lessons were in ukrainian... so I am gonna need to learn really fast. It is going well so far... I was sad though because the other day my flashcard game broke... it has not worked since... so i have resorted back to just writing everything down so my hand is getting absolutely shredded.
my companion  keeps introducing me to strange candy and food... her favourite thing to eat is sand.... literally she eats sweet sand. She keeps telling me it is not sand. But I do not know... apparently its called халва... halva... I do not know but it is a literal brick of sweet sand.
I love her she is so so good... and do not worry. I have read her this email and she thinks it is hilarious. She teases me just as much as I tease her. In her exact words after I read her this part of the email "oh you are so nice and hilarious".... in other words this is going straight to my head and I am once again convinced I am the funniest person to walk.
Okay all jokes aside...
Our branch here is amazing. I have no words to describe honestly how good they are. They are so anxiously engaged in the work too! They keep asking to join lessons... it's insane. There are also so many kids in this branch and they love hanging out with us and sitting with us... So yeah I am doing good. its crazy because there are about 20 some in our branch which is really big honestly but there are SO MANY KIDS. It is really fun. This branch is teaching me how I need to be when I come home. What it means to love and serve and build a zion community. I am so grateful to be here.

One thing I have really focused on this week was the importance of good habits. What do we resort to when things get hard and uncomfortable. It is so important that we RELY on the Lord in all parts of life. That way when the trials come you are already leaning on the rock that is Jesus Christ. We can do all things with christ! in Filipians 4:13 I can do all things through christ who strengtheneth me. I love this scripture. I especially love it with luke 22:32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. and then throw some Isaiah in there about moving mountains.... SO  GOOD.
But seriously when we turn to God and ALWAYS rely on Him. All things are made possible. We must be willing to act, and when we do He is always there to make miracles happen.
I will close with some words from the end of Isaiah 55...( this is parts of verse 12 and 13)
For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing.. Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree

I know that when we Focus on Him our lives are transformed and great and miraculous things are brought to pass.

I love you all! Thank you for your emails. Have a great week
also to whom it may concern I am teaching sister plaszczynska real Canadian English :))
