Jesteśmy Gwiazdami:)
Witam!
What is up everybody! I am getting scary consistant with these emails. Still working on emailing everyone back but I should get a good bit out today:) I love you all! Thank you for your emails. It always makes my week.
This week was good! We had zone conference which was so awesome! Sister Ireland and I had a wild morning before it started... we were gonna go for our normal run but then my phone seemed to have broken which was problematic cause that is what our presentation was on.... so we decided instead of our run we would go to the church. So we ran to the church and the second we sat down and got the computer fired up my phone miraculously recovered... but it was so good that it happened because our entire presentation ended up changing for zone conference. It was a blessing for sure.
I'll spare you the dreadful details but I jokingly told our elders I could conduct the music (I was already conducting the meeting and they know I can't conduct music) and then... I was going over the program so I knew what I was saying ... and there was my name... conducting the music.... so I took a one minute crash course from sister grob and cannon... and there I was. Sister grob... you're a real one... iykyk;)
Towards the end of the meeting it got so hot in our meetinghouse... we had about twelve fans going but it was so bad. It was my turn to stand up to close the meeting and conduct the music... and the whole time all I could think was "if you pass out that will be so embarrassing"... I got heat stroke... so that was a fun adventure haha!
Whoever tells you Poland is cold is lying to you. It's not. It is the hottest place I have EVER been.
Okay now enough of me being dramatic.
It was so awesome to see all of the missionaries in our zone. Its just so much fun and I love them all so much. It was awesome to see the elders from Rzeszów and have our little crew back together:) Rzeszów is the best. A piece of my heart will always be there.
It was so good to see my siostro Grob. That girl is the best. She is my actual sister.
What elseee hmmmmm
Sister Ireland and I are living for our morning runs it gets to about 23 by the time we are done so it's perfect weather.
And oh my goodness... we serve with the BEST SENIOR COUPLE. They take care of us all!! They feel like our grandparents. We spent the entire day at their house yesterday after church and they made us lunch and dinner and put out fruit and cookies while sister Ireland and I had lessons and studied. They are just the best.
This week in my studies I've been focused a lot on life long discipliship. With officially six months left here in Poland I am focusing on building habits that last. It has been an incredible week of goal setting. I love my mission!!! I have changed so much and will continue to. I am really looking forward to these next six months just being able to be all in on the work and at the same time build habits that last an eternity!!! Which leads me to my spiritual thought...
Spiritual thought:
"Joy is the very purpose of God’s plan for His children. It’s what you were created for—“that [you] might have joy”! You were built for this!"
We had the opportunity to share this with a lot of people this week. This is something I've been reflecting on a lot. Especially recently. The Gospel of Jesus Christ has changed me. I am a joyful person now. There is just so much to be grateful for. The world is crazy and scary but God is constant, loving, merciful, and good.
It's such an incredible message to be able to share.
To be able to share a message that lets people feel hope and love in their lives is an incredible gift.
We were made to have joy. That is our purpose. And the joy of the gospel of Jesus Christ... is unlike anything else. It is eternal. (There is a great talk about this if you want it let me know)
I have an invite for everyone this week... and I know not everyone on here is a member of the Church of jesus christ of latter day saints... butttt
I invite you all to go to the temple :)
I miss it more than I can say! The peace and joy that one can find there is incredible. If you can go inside... go do some temple work and spend a little extra time in the chapel or the celestial room :)
If you aren't a member find an LDS temple close to you and take a walk around the beautiful gardens that surround the temple. It's a beautiful outside... and those grounds are so peaceful.
If you do this you should send me your experience!! If not for you then for me hehe
Oooo or even better send me pictures of the temple you visit/go to!!! Ah that would be SO fun and happy to see!!! I really hope you do that!!
I guess I have one more invite...
Identify one thing this week that brings you JOY!!! I would love to hear what it is;)
Anyways! That's about it for this week:) we've got another awesome one coming up
I hope you are doing well! I always love hearing from you all! Thank you again for your emails. They make my heart so happy:)
there is so much good to be had this week:))
Miłego !!
Siostro Campbella
