Week 24?
Happy Holidays!!
Hello everyone:)
This week has been so busy.
We had mission conference This week which was super cool. Our whole mission came to Warsaw. I got to meet some missionaries that I haven't yet. That's what's super cool about being in such a small mission.... you literally get to know everyone. Right now there are I believe 60 missionaries in Poland... 16 of which are sisters. It was so fun to finally meet everyone. It was an incredible two days. We had so much fun and it was spiritual and we are helping trial run a new program the church is launching. It is awesome getting to be here in Warsaw while this is all happening.
Another blessing of being in Warsaw.... the big district! We have 10 people in our district. This is also the only time in my mission I will ever serve with another set of sisters. So naturally we had to take full advantage of that and have a sleepover on Christmas. It was super fun. We had also gone to midnight mass with everyone including our mission leaders and their family. It was such a cool experience.
Sister Dil and I love being able to serve as STL's. It is so awesome to be able to talk with thr sisters and be able to help them. It's also so amazing to be able to get to know them. It is definitely a scheduling... learning opportunity though. We have to schedule a lot of exchanges coming up here which can be challenging since that means going all over the country... and we have a bunch of important events coming up here in Warsaw... so it's fun getting to learn how to balance and coordinate our schedule.
We are so excited though, so many amazing things coming up here soon!
Spiritual thought
Moroni 7:47
But charity is the pure love of Christ, and it endureth forever; and whoso is found possessed of it at the last day, it shall be well with him.
This time of year can be incredibly emotional. As Christ did, it is important for us to act outwards. To show the charitable love that Christ did. It can be easy to become consumed with how we are feeling and only be concerned about ourselves and how our day is going to go. BUT, If we just take a second to put someone else first and have charity... it can truly change someone's day and even life.
I love you all and I am still working on emails so I am sorry if I haven't responded to you yet. I promise I have read your emails and I am going to respond. I can not yell you how much I appreciate every single one. It means the world to me.
Wesołych Świąt!!!
Siostra Campbell
(this week's name is brought to you by my fellow missionaries, people can't wrap their brain around my first name being Campbell)
