Week Idk Someone's Gotta Tell Me
Hello everyone.
This week has been really eventful. We had all saints day, transfers, and a lot inbetween haha.
All saints day was probably one of the most incredible things I have ever experienced. People light candles in memory of loved ones, soldiers, and those who lost their lives during war. It was a beautiful day. All of the missionaries in Warsaw (All ten of us) went to the church and street contacted ALL day. There was tons of foot traffice because the chapel is surrounded by cemetaries and memorials for world war II. We were blessed with the opportunity to go with one of out friends to light candles for his family, our families, and those who lost their lives during the war. We felt very blessed to be given such an opportunity.
Transfers happened, our trio is down to two (if you get that reference, I love you). Sister Dil and I have been given lots of unique service opportunities the past couple days. We feel grateful to have each other and God. Our district and mission leaders have been nothing short of amazing. We are so blessed to be in Warsaw at this time and with each other.
My spiritual thought today is similar to those of the past... but it's just so important.
Be so kind to people. Love everyone you come in contact with. You never know the trials someone is facing. The world gets meaner by the day. So try and change that. Just love people. When you feel tempted to complain or be unkind, look for an opportunity to serve or help. Whether it's the person that may be getting on your nerves or cleaning up your community. Find a way to help.
Losing yourself in the service of others is an incredible blessing and very eye opening.
I recommend you go and listen to "peacemakers needed" by President Nelson! It is an amazing talk.
That's it for today:)
I always love hearing from you all!
